COSMETIC ENHANCEMENTS

Bleaching

Dr. Wilkoff offers two different whitening methods for patients wishing to brighten and enhance their smiles. The Zoom! Advanced Power™ whitening system is done in the office and gives dazzling white teeth in about an hour. This is the same whitening technique you’ve seen on the TV reality shows, like "Extreme Makeover." We also have an "at-home" system that involves fabrication of custom bleaching trays that can be used for many years. Stained or discolored teeth are very common among adults of all ages, and come from a variety of sources, such as: coffee, red wine, soda, tea, tobacco and some medications. Anything that would stain a white shirt or blouse will stain your teeth!

Store bought products can be helpful, but they are slow, limited and don't last long. Dr Wilkoff's office is a Zoom! teeth whitening center. Teeth whitening is one of the simplest ways to make a smile more youthful. Zoom! in-office teeth whitening is the newest, fastest technology to whiten your teeth. In just over an hour, you will leave with a brighter smile that makes you look great, feel better and glad to smile like never before! Many of our Zoom power whitening clients are experiencing 5-10 shades of lightening. In many situations, this will be enough to accomplish your desired teeth whitening goals. To maintain the power whitening process, the Home Whitening Technique can be used.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are a thin porcelain shells, designed to cover discolored or damaged front teeth. Sometimes, a very thin layer of the enamel from a damaged tooth needs to be smoothed off to provide room for the beautiful porcelain covering. Veneers are incredibly strong and can last 20 or more years without problems. Dr. Wilkoff has been placing porcelain veneer's for over 25 years and can design a "veneer makeover" to enhance the smile of any patient.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Composite Resins have been in use for over 30 years with great success in dentistry. Most cavities, defects and damage in teeth can be restored with these safe, inert materials. Unlike AMALGAM (silver fillings contain 50% MERCURY, a poisonous, toxic metal), composite resins are very safe. Use of amalgam has already been eliminated in many european countries. Dr. Wilkoff's office is Mercury-Free. THIS OFFICE HAS NEVER USED AMALGAM AS A FILLING MATERIAL, AND NEVER WILL!
